Jack,

YES!!!! I was amazed that the light actually meant something (18 years
after it was installed) when it came on while the engine was running.
Pumped out 1.5 quarts of oil.  

The part number is GPS117 (The Roadster Factory, Rimmer)  $5.95 at TRF.

Page 18 of the Moss Catalogue SPT-02 shows part # 071-124 for '80
Federal cars and 79-80 California cars.
