Electronic Lucas Ignition

Heyo,

I have the drive resistor (which I know as a ballast resistor from my
Mopar daze) which seems to be reading a straight short.

Does anyone know the correct multimeter reading for this item?

I'm fixing on installing my Joe Curry special distributor, and I have
the wires all sussed out, but I have this burning question...shouldn't a
resistor have some resistance?  My training says yes, but after many
beers and many years I am prone to mental lapses :)
