Windscreen replacement

Listers,

The new windscreen goes in this weekend. A while back there was a discussion
on the best lubricant to use, I think the consensus was Vaseline. Anybody
ever used glycerin ? A guy at the local Triumph club swears by it.

Also, any hints on the easiest way to install the finisher chrome strips ?
