Hi All
I trailered my 76 Spitfire home Saturday (OOPS! 74)

Sunday I did an oil change, replaced the anti freeze and used my MIGHTY
VAC
(REALLY COOL TOOL) to purge the fuel line of old gas.

Hooked up jumpers and after a couple of cranks she fired, runs a little
rough but, No Smoke, no knocks or taps. Compression is between 120-130
for all cylinders.
I'm pleased with it.

The Question is on Emission hoses to the carbon canistor. I do not have
a good book on the 1500. I have a Haynes with a pretty lame supplement
on the 1500.

Current Hose routing:
    1. Hose off valve cover is TEE'd to the Right side of Carb and to
the Top Center of Canistor.

    2. Top Back of Canistor goes back to Gas Tank

    3. Top Front of Canistor goes to Front left Carb

    4. Bottom of Canistor goes to center of Intake just behind the carb.

    5. I don't have an anti run on valve, but did find the 2 wires
dangling

    6. Rear intake (cyl 3&4) goes to a bolt (nowhere)

    7. There is a vacuum port on the top rear of carb that goes nowhere.

Does anyone know the correct configuration?

I'll post some pictures of it and give a description of work done on
my Web page this week.

Thanks for your input.
