My '76 has what I assume is the "official" dealer installed radio. AM/FM, 5
push buttons with the BL logo.

The radio is at best a dealer installed one. At worst, it was
a DPO installation. None of the Mk IV or 1500 cars came with
a radio from the factory. I may receive some argument here, but
any radio was a dealer installed accessory.

The radio in my '76 Spitfire doesn't work, and I'm trying
to decide what to do with it. If it's original equipment, I
would like to try to repair it. If not, I'm just going to chuck
it. The label on the front says "Boman Astrosonix". Is that
original? It sure sounds like something that came from
Kmart (or worse).

Thanks.
