My motivation is that I have to replace my existing exhaust manifold;
I'm not specifically looking for a performance improvement. Of course,
if improved performance comes along as part of the deal, that's great
(and it IS a part of why I'm exploring the options in some detail). If
the Pacesetter is in fact a suitable option, it's also likely to be much
less expensive than just putting in another cast iron manifold ... which
is a big plus.
