I took my car in to the garage today - and they said that it would be ready
tomorrow as they wouldnt have time to finish it all today.

Regarding hypocondria - well thank god for this list then!! At least we can
all ask - no matter how small or insignificant I think it is - what some odd
rattle or noise might be. I know I'd be lost without this list.

I'm going to have spent about 600 pounds in 6 months (exhaust and
bearings/shafts (plus labour) + consumables such as oil etc - not petrol
though) - Im hoping that this isn't going to be a trend....

Talking of mouse traps - a couple of weeks ago I had to catch a mouse - we had
a standard trap - but the mouse was too small to trigger it. So I made one
using an alu electronics project box, some solder and a piece of cheese. It
trapped it after 1/2 hour. Humane and it cost about 1 pound 50 in total.
