BZZT! WRONG!!!

I do it successfully, others do it successfully. You've had offers to
show you how to do it successfully, but have always refused those offers
to teach you something.

As has been explained to you many times, you cannot heat many feet a
coil spring is long with a torch at one end. The most you will affect
is about 2-4 inches.

And again, I will extend to you the offer to teach you how to do this.

Actually, if you do it WRONG, cutting off a coil might actually soften
it. The wrong way is to cut the coil off with a torch and heat the
entire
spring, thus making it lose its temper.
