This could be caused by lots of things, most of which would require
taking apart the transmission again to fix.  You should try removing
the top cover and seeing if the various parts do what they are
supposed to do as you shift between neutral and different gears.

Don;t try this with the engine running, or you will have gear oil all over the 
place, or possibly even get your hands mangled in the moving parts...
