Here's what I learned last year shopping for tools. We
bought a bunch of Kobalt, made  by Williams, before
Lowes changed suppliers.... Now Kobalt are just
junk,shitty like ALL new Craftsman....

A little story, I had a set yellow sears screwdrivers
that had a red rubber grip on them that was stamped
and lettered "Made In USA". After tearing one of the
rubber grips off by using a pair of channel locks to
get more leverage, whata ya mean not covered", the
actual molded yellow plastic had stamped on it " Made
in China". So, I guess the only part that US made was
the rubber grip :-)......... Oh, this was at least 10
years ago...
