I had to order one seat for a trial fit, and the Corbeau would fit just fine
if I did not have a roll bar. The Corbeau classic has lateral supports and
although I can position the seat OK on the right side(drivers side of my car)
I run into problems with the left seat. The seat needs to be positioned
close to the tunnel and it interferes with the hand brake.
The Cobra seat also looks like I will have the same problem. I have decided to
have
my Mk1 Triumph GT6 seats recovered and continue to use them. They
fit into the car exceptionally well, and they sit flat on the floor which makes
you sit
lower in the car. I like this lower center of gravity for spirited driving.
The Corbeau
and the stock Bugeye seats make me feel like I am sitting too high. Also the
flatter seating position
keeps me from banging my head on the roll bar like others have experienced.
BTW - I have responded to several people on the mail list but never see my
postings
broadcast, what am I doing wrong?

did you ever get an answer to this?
I just contacted Mini Mania about the COBRA Classic seat. Is that the
same one? They say it is very hard to fit to a Spridget. It is about 20"
wide. They recommend the Cobra Roadster which is much narrower. Both
seats can be seen on their web page (I think in the Sept. Sprite
Specials). Where can I see a picture of the Corbeau?
RWS (Racing Wheel Services who advertises in Grassroots Motorsports) has
an "RWS" Classic and a Viper. Are these identical to any of the above?
