I was just looking through a pile of odd parts and came across an SU setup.
All looked familiar except for two things. The back carb float bowl had two
pipes going into it. One is for fuel but what is the other one for? A fuel
vent for emmisions maybe? The other odd thing I was not used to was a large
brass pipe going into the throat just up stream of the butterfly. This came
out the side and looked as if a hose would fit on it.By large I mean 1/4 ".
This is a source of vacume , but for what? Bob C in KS
