If you were very spirited in your driving and the mc was full up to the
neck, I'd expect some to seep out around the cap; mine always does, and
I've had 3 different caps on this car. I've never heard of using an o-ring,
but I know that Home Depot sells the correct size as I bought some to make
my home-made EZ bleed.

Caps from the smaller bottles of Marvel Mystery Oil are almost identical to
the old metal cap originally on my parts car. I think that the plastic ones
give cleaner venting, though.
