Calipers

While browsing the Moss sale flyer I noticed the following Spridget brake
calipers:

182-710 L Caliper (new)   $169.95
182-700 R Caliper (new)   $104.00

I asked about it and was told that it was correct.  Anyone know why the left
is more than the right? Is this true for all "New" calipers from other
vendors?

Not buying just wondering.
