The rear captive nut is readily accessible, the front ones are
buried under the large rubber in the top spring seat. I haven't
tried to pull that off yet. I'll take a look today.

Since this is on a race/rally car, I'm not all that keen on this solution
as I'd presume it wouldn't locate the shock quite so well under the
extreme braking loads it will see.

I'm going down to the bearing place today to talk about helicoils
of any other type of insert.
