No problem here!!! After so many years as a non award winner, at shows where
my low mileage, unrestored but pristine cars were always brushed aside by the
chrome bolted, jazzy types. I am pleased and delighted to bow to the low
mileage ribbed rubber floor matted, unmodified sister (or brother) of my car.
Both are MKII AN6's with low mileage (Biffs 1,500 to my 7500). Biff, Always
drive to the shows...for the fun, not for the expectation of winning an award.
Heck, while the other bozo's (not you Frank) are polishing their fancy cars,
I'm over at the NOS table getting all the deals. Main thing always to
remember is, "Keep em on the road" . On my way to a newly discovered
warehouse (maybe two bldgs worth) of parts 99% Sprite related. Owner says
mostly early sprite parts (not sure what that means) from his long closed
dealership service and parts department. All are New Old Stock, Heart is
pumping, hands trembling, if you guys don't hear back from me you know I've
died and gone to heaven. Don't ask, I'm not telling where it is. Only tell
you that I'm currently about 400 miles from home. Matts, matts, do I smell
matts?
Hey, anyone need anything?
