Speedi-sleeve is a trademarked name from C-R (Chicago Rawhide) seals.
Redi-Sleeve is the same thing marketed by National Seals.
They are very thin stainless steel sleeves made to be used with the
original dimension seal that "restores" the shaft to proper dimension and
finish. Wonderful invention under-utilized. Great with crankshaft pulleys.
Much like the thought behind the seal sleeve used on MGA,B front spindles.
Some are cataloged by application, but you'd do better by using dimensions.
They both produce catalogs of seals by sizes and show the sleeves that work
for that range. A bearing house does better at this than an auto parts
store.... different chains of distribution.
