Danny,
can you get a bottle jack under your car?
I can't under mine, but mine is a little low...
For tire changing on the road, one of these would be fine, but for
maintenance work you need a floor jack.  2ton versions can be had for $20.
Much nicer is a larger one with about 20" of height.  Harbor Freight, $60,
wait for a 'free shipping' offer :-)
