I thought this was a cute ethnic automotive joke.
3 Jews approached Henry Ford way back in the 1920s. They told him the
had an idea for all cars, that they did not want any money for their
idea but they did want their name on the front of each car that used
their idea.
Henry Ford said that the Ford name goes on the front of every Ford and
that he could not put their name on the grille but that he would listen
to their idea.
The 3 Jewish guys proceded to tell Henry about air conditioning in cars.
They said, think about it, cool drives thru hot deserts, window up
driving in comfort when it's raining.
Henry thought about it and said it was a great idea but that he still
could not put their name on the front of each Ford with AC but that he
would put their name on the dash board of each car that had Air
conditioning.
The jews agreed and to this day every car with AC has thier names on the
dash.
