Two question for a '72 Midget:

Does the capillary tube for the temperature gauge have a bracket or stay of
some kind between the firewall and the engine? If so describe what the
bracket is and where it attaches.

The oil pressure line within the engine compartment where it emerges from
the firewall has a metal clip which attached to the line. This is the metal
part of the line which only extends about 6" to 8" inside the fire wall.
What is this clip anchored/screwed to?

As always any help will be appreciated.
