A Speedy sleeve fits over the machined end of the axle, and restores the
surface so that the seal can seal. They're made by Chicago Rawhide, (it's
metal, despite their name) and available from Winner's Circle in Ohio, or by
part# from most bearing supply houses. Expect to pay around $30... but if
that saves your axle housing, it's worth it.
