Hi, John --
You have to remove the bonnet release cable to remove the vinyl panel.  To
remove the cable, you have to remove the nut on the forward side of the
firewall.   As far as I've been able to figure out, you have to remove the
engine and tranny to get access to the nut.   Great, huh?
