I know that you will keep this car in excellent condition and do all the
regular maintenance. That is the key to keeping a car trouble free. The
fact that a 40 year old car requires regular maintenance more frequently than
a jelly bean is something of which she should be aware.

A coupla things that you didn't mention come to mind. A set of jumper cables
and how to use them, lest the Prince of Darkness strikes. A phone card in an
envelope marked "For Emergency Use ONLY!" in the glovebox is also a good
idea. How about showing her how to jack up the car and change a tire, or at
least give her a can of Fix-A-Flat?

Congratulations to Ms. Clarici on getting her license. Will she be looking
for a project car that she can restore?
