The powdercoating place I use uses a ceramic product on the headers. It
looks amazingly like Jet-Hot. How does Jet-Hot apply their stuff? Is it a
'powder' or a dip? I have ceramic coating applied at te powdercoating place
on my exhaust and intake manifolds as well as my entire exhaust pipe. It
seems very durable although my manifold cracked once because of the extreme
swelling it goes through during heat. It was repaired under warranty.

I do not want to undermine Jet-Hot as they are a good and reputable company
and probably have proprietary coatings. I can only say that my local
powdercoater has a similar product I am happy with. I feel lucky in that I
don't have to ship things off.
