I've been told that there are spring shops that will re-arc your spring,
though you have to provide the specs. I don't know where those specs would
come from. Another option is to buy new ones. However, many people who have
gone this route seem to have trouble with the springs (1) raising the car
way too high and (2) sagging in a very short time. One of the contributing
editors of Sports Cars and Classics (Presnell is his name, I think) just
had a new rear spring collapse on him. Finally, you could switch springs
side to side. This would be about an hour or so to do. The only problem is
that the car will eventualy sit too low in the rear and of course not give
you the suspension set-up needed. Of course, you could always lower the
front end...
