There is a big difference in re-building/restoring a Mk1 Mini and a Mk1 Mini
Cooper.

There a lot of engine differences between the 997 and 998 Coopers and other A
Series engines, not to mention gearbox, gearbox remote, etc. Likewise a lot
of differences between trim and so on.

Probably a Mk1 Cooper would be no cheaper to rebuild than a Bugeye and for
someone in the USA maybe a whole lot more expensive. Buy a book on the
Cooper so you know what you are getting in to before you proceed.
