Okay all
My quick and only comment on this.

The thing to remember here is that you as a citizen are
always in danger of having ANY of your rights, not just the
right to bear arms legislated away from you if you just
ignore the problem/people that are unhappy with that right.
Name ANY right that you take for granted in the U.S. and I
guarantee I can come up with a/several groups that would
dearly love to restrict that right.  In life, you get what
you fight for and loose what you ignore.
