   Todd be sure that you drain the fuel system and use new fuel as the
old fuel will have lost its volatility and the flash point will be too
low to be ignited. Put in new spark plugs and be certain that the carb
jet is free to move in the carb body so that the choke will be
effective. Pull the damper body
off and clean the needle with a Scotch Brite pad and be sure that the
jet is open and free of any obstructions. If the car ran before and it
has spark this should get you going.
