Ulix,

This was 'sort-of' discussed several weeks ago here, and here is the solution 
that was arrived at.
I got a switch (on at 185 off at 170) that has a threaded brass lug. What I'm 
going to do (when I get time), is using the same plug that is in the side of 
the 
head, drill and tap that, and mount the thermo switch there. This could also be 
done to the plug in the radiator instead (I believe they are exactly the same 
size plug).
