To any who care
The TH200 was a 2 speed automatic offered from the mid fifties until 1967 in
virtually every General Motors product
It wasn't apiece of junk and is the preferred automatic for drag racing (2 gears
= 1 shift = minimal lost time) It does need a shift kit to bark the tires w/
gear changes
Another plus is they are available everywhere and cheap as dirt
Will it fit in a spridget? Yes, very narrow for an automatic. W/ cable linkage
wouldn't even need to widen the tunnel
Does it belong in a spridget? No way no shape no how
