Eddie:

They seem to be bad for cracking there.   If you have just done a fulcrum pin 
and bushing job on the A-arm, I would consider having it  welded up, but due 
to it being a critical area, I would have a professional weld it.  shouldn't 
cost very much as it is a very small weld.
