Arrgh, at this moment I am completely unsure.

I need the definitive answer!!!

I have a 1978 Midget with the 1500cc engine. I want to put a 5 speed in it.
I gather that the Sierra/xR4 trans will fit, but are hard to find and rather
expensive. I also gather that the Datsun tranny will NOT fit (in which case
Ryan, thanks but don't bother).

I also gather that Frontline and Riverside both make kits. However, from
their web pages, it appears that I can only get a kit from Waterloo
(http://www.waterloo-dtr.com/Products/Spridget/Index.htm) for the 1500, it
does not appear that Rivergate
(http://www.rivergate5speed.com/rivergate.html) has a setup for the 1500.

The Waterloo setup uses a Ford tranny (I guess from a Sierra??).

I have no idea how complicated the install is using the Frontline kit.

Now have I missed anything?? Any other clues, suggestions, PITA's etc.
