Once you start fitting modified parts the ignition requirement of the engine
changes - you might as well read David Vizard A-series engine etc than me
type my fingers to death. It is not so much a case of more but rather
different and will depend on what else is going with the head, eg exhaust etc.

It actually is a Longman GT6 head (Yap ebay) which I think is a fairly
nicely modified Cooper S head. I do have plans for other things later but
for now I think I'll just bolt it on and stick corks in the extra holes. I
don't want to pull the motor right now so this will prevent me from getting
too wild and carried away. (G)
Why would I have to change timing? Stock is 34 deg total advance, do you
 need more than that?
