the compressor that does not blow?

me thinks you have a bad regulator!  just a curiosity, but have you tried
screwing it in (carefully) gently untill a beginning of resistance like it
has bottomed out?????   just curious?

.....then try slowly screwing it back out to see if there is any pressure
increase or decrease on discharge end?
