As you may all know, chuck (no caps) recently did a bang up job painting my
car. Yesterday I took the car in to get my new chrome wire wheels installed.
Boy did it look sharp, for as long as it took to drive home.
When I got home I took the old wheels, which the shop had kindly put in the
boxes the new wheels came in, out of the front seat of the car. One of the
old wheels slipped out of the box (can you see this coming?) and put 2 big
chips in the new paint right above the pass side rear wheel. No metal got
bent, but I can not quite repeat the words that flowed outta my mouth. Nor
share the tears that came to my eyes. I do have a little paint left over for
touch up, but one of the chips may be a little big for just a touch up.
I am going to see chuck tonight to do a spot of work on his computer, I'll
have him take a look to see what can be done. Still :-(
