I SOMEWHAT DISAGREE..
I actually somewhat welcome today's shapes compared to the "sheet metal break"
school of design from the late 70's-80's.
k-cars, ford t-birds, Chevy caprice, telephone booth Volvos, early ford
escorts/ mustangs.....those were disgusting!!
yeah today's cars are a bit cookie cutter,,,but at least they have curves
again. but theres a FEW good ones out there.. the boxter, miata, honda
sportscars, MR2's, viper, corvette, new vwbug, BMW.. hey i even like the looks
of the NEW ford escort....they don't suck..
I wish the Brits would follow suit..they had the greatest run of cars in the
50's-60's..but now the Japanese and Germans are making what should be Brit
cars..
Yeah i wish that a few more of the studio/study cars would make it to the
showroom floor.
I still couldn't afford them..but hey,,i welcome variety. just not ugly
variety. Am I the only one who wretches at the sight of Pontiacs new
Vitara..what that all about? engineers on hallucinogens?.It shouldve been
called the Coyote ugly..and i am sorry, but what computer geek designed the new
mustang? My breadtruck has better lines..
