I am looking to lower the compression ratio on my 1275 from 11.5-1 to about
10-1.

This company:

Gasket Works USA, L.L.C.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT * MANUFACTURE * SALES
Makers of Custom Solid Copper Head Gaskets
copper@headgasket.com Tel.No. (626) 358-1616 Voice/Fax

makes solid copper gaskets in the following thickness':

.022, .032, .040, .043, .048, .054, .063, .070, .086, .093, and .125 inches.

As solid copper does not compress, the listed numbers apply after the head
is torqued.

Anybody know the thickness of a stock 1275 head gasket after it's
compressed. I.E. after it's installed and the head torqued?

Any WAG's on the thickness I will need?

Any WAG's on the thickness that would be required to lower a stock 1275 CR
by a point and a half?
