The car shows I have entered where the participants like me vote for show 
winners?  I always check the pedals and the tires for wear and vote for 
drivers over trailer queens.  Right or wrong?  I don't know--but I put more 
value on an operating, serving automobile than I do a museum piece.  But then 
I figure that a drive-in show should have cars that are driven in.  

And have a separate competition for the others.  And not to knock Concours 
cars--I think it is great that there are folk who are interested in authentic 
restoration.  My "Kentucky Wildcats" baseball cat is off to them.
