2-3 weeks is agressive, my wife says I get obsessive when I tackle a project
I was going to use stock rearend. I don't usually like to light the tires up
fabricating motor mounts isn't a problem, I have the tools I need
Hadn't considered how well or poorly stock exhaust would fit

You're quite the optimist...2 to 3 weeks?... I don't think so...'-) There
are some chassis mods that need to be done as well as lots of fabrication
of things from motor mounts to headers. You will also want to swap out the
rear end as I don't think the stock one will take what the engine will dish
out. There is a modification for the axles that will probably do though.
If you want to drive your car this summer, leave the RX7 conversion for
winter and put you spare ribcase in now... or do a Datsun 5 speed
conversion.
