Greetings Spridgeteers!

On Saturday I took delivery of my first "real" LBC, a 1959 Bugeye (the
pile of rust I bought last fall that somebody called a Midget doesn't
count). The Bugeye's serial number is AN5L10900. I purchased this car
from Glenn Lenhard, of Glenn's MG Repair in St. Petersburg, FL. Glenn,
if you're reading this, thanks for all your help during the process!

I'd love to go into detail about the car, but, as my wife and kids have
recently found out, I tend to drone on and on about this hobby, so I'll
save you all the time and just suffice to say the car (as yet not named)
promptly "marked it's territory" once I drove it onto my brand new
driveway! :~)

Drove it around a bit this weekend, short errands, etc. As I was aware
of before I received it, the clutch is slipping, so I guess that means a
major operation since there is no adjustment to tight things up a bit.
It is mostly original, although the PO put on a newer set of HS2 carbs,
but left the original H1 carbs in a box in the boot (along with the
original Made in England spare).

I've been mostly a lurker to the list for the last year or so, but I
would imagine you'll hear more from me as time goes by. Lord knows I'll
need the help during the restoration.
