Dear Fellow Spridgeteers:
As I am reasonably new to the LBC scene, I don't know how well organized
your communications are for events such as this. This weekend event
will be held on a new track, with lots of fun twisty turns for the
sports car racing enthusiast. I have not personally been to the site,
only seen pictures of the track. I believe there will be a number of
members from our two local AH clubs: Flatwater Austin Healey Club and
Her Royal Majesty's Motor Patrol. If I make it, I hope to get to meet
some of you.

The new road course Mid- America Motorplex at Pacific Junction
Ia. is hosting for the first time Vintage Sports Car Racing
The weekend of October 11 to 13, 2002. This is a first for the
track and this area.
Practice will be all day Friday with racing all day Saturday and
Sunday. Admission will be charge to MAM.
Friend's of Triumph and Team Thicko (Sprite races, etc.) will
be out in force.
