Yessiree, Kate...

Unfortunately, you appear to be getting
zapped there, OK. South of you plenty
of relatively warmer air with clouds
dissapating to the south. So, geographically, you are in the wrong
place!! :) There must be somebody you
can blame so you can sue!! :)

The warmer air (front) I am talking
about is mid-US as we speak. It is
in a virtually clear area, with clear
skies for quite a distance behind it,
until it runs into the area of rain over
the Pacific NW.

We will be getting some light precip
(snow) tomorrow night around 12AM
as a small disturbance works it way
through, just prior to the warm front
moving into the area. There will be a
day of two of shower activity along with
the warmer air mass moving into and
occupying my area over the next 5 days
beginning Wed. PM. I cannot begin to
tell you how much we are all looking
forward to the arrival of that warm air
mass! :)

How long did it take you to dry the
dog off, BTW??!! :)

This I could live with. I love top down cruising on sunny, winter days.
The colder the better - that's what lap robes are for. In fact, my car
does not even have a top. taking the puppy out for a 10 - 15 minute
stroll requires 30 minutes of drying time for my jacket, longer for my
shoes. The creek has risen over 3' since yesterday afternoon. At the
moment, it is sunny, warm, and beautiful, but black clouds are peering
over the hills (mountains to you, Cap'n Bob). There is no way around it.
I am waterlogged.
