Glenn:
If you leave the inner fulcrum nuts "only snug", you can push the a-arm so
it points downish enough to be able to slip the spring up into its little
nook ("offer up the spring" as they say.)
Now you pivot the a-arm back under the spring, tighten the fulcrum nuts a
bit more to hold things in position, and set up your jack. Pump the a-arm
into position against the spring pressure. Now your ready for your king pin
assembly. You can kick the spring if you want, but holding it with your
hand works just as well.

Hi everyone,

I'm back on the list after having some email problems a few months back.
Hope
I didn't miss too much.

I'm reinstalling my rebuilt a-arms I got a few months back. Is there a
trick
to getting the coil springs back in place? Frank once suggested kicking
them
in place, but I don't see that happening.

Thanks for the help.

Regards,
