Thanks to everyone who helped me with my car # question but I finally got to
the bottom of why I was having a problem doing a Heritage search by Engine #.
This may seem funny to you experts out there but please be kind and remember
Im a novice to all of this.
It seems that the Bugeye restoration that I just inherited blew it's engine
in the mid 60s and the mechanic replaced the engine with an Engine from a HAN6!
Doesnt make me happy but at least I know now.
This may seem like a silly question to some of you but I gotta ask. Is it
possible to find a rebuilt engine for an AN5? Since the engines are basically
the same in the An5/HAN6 would it make sense to go down that path? Would it
help the value of my Bugeye in the long run?
