On the tach, the white wires go from the ignition to the coil + side on 
a - grd car.
Make sure the green wire (hot when switched on) is hooked up and the 
tach is grounded.
The 2 bullets on the tach are the loop feeds, in and out. 50/50 on which 
is in ;) But power the green, ground the tach good, and run a wire from 
the key to the tach to the coil.
To replace the face and needle, just pop off the needle, unscrew the 
face, replace with the larger face and needle. No calibration should be 
neccessary with the later tach guts. You will have to do a bit of dremel 
work to the larger can for the smaller guts to fit.
