the cap and then ran a hose from the breather on the valve cover down the 
side of the engine to just past the oils pan. Cut the end diagonally with

help to vent the engine. Get a little messy on the undercarrige but at least 
it's not all over the compartment.

Mine was doing the same thing, but I vented the breather into a fitting 
mounted in the bottom of the Weber air cleaner so the blowby goes back thru the 
engine.  It stopped the oil pumping out of the dipstick and added to my sense 
of 
environmental decency.  (Right!!!)
