I'm convinced that Trevor was correct in
terms of dynamo (in defference to Guy
Weller of UK fame!:) /alternator switchover. I sort of hooked this up
(incorrectly) to when serious emissions equipment began appearing in our
cars
in '68 but I was totally wrong, obviously.
Did you notice Frank's horn on his
Blue BE? Sorta got a laugh out of that.

The Festiva alternator does appear
smaller than my Bosch, which is large
enough to the extent I'm thinking of
wiring it up to provide a back-up electrical
drive to the rear wheels to get me home,
in the event of "primary" powerplant
failure. :)
