For the top bolt I sawed it off at 3 or 4 thread
engagement.  It can be accessed from the top if, like
on my race car, the access panel has been welded over.
 It's sometimes easier to get from the top with the
staqrter removed, but a royal PIA either way.  It
often takes me longer to get that bolt on than it does
to pull the engine.
