Hey guys and gals!
Does anyone out there have 1.5 inch SUs on their 1275?
If so, how do you make them fit? My Midget has a hump grafted in by the PO to
allow for the extra height. I now find myself wanting to add K&Ns ( probably
conical ) to the mix as the foam in my pancake type filters are disintegrating.
I'm not sure yet if they'll fit. I would love to add the Maniflow intake from
APT for performance, but I get stuck with the 20 degree angle for the float
bowls and I'm not sure that the SUs will end up in the same place to fit in the
hood hump.
What have other people done?
And, how can I tell what kind of SUs I have? They're tagless, but they're
supposed to be from a UK spec MGB.
