My TR4 has mirrors mounted on the doors and my Sprite has mirrors mounted on 
the fenders.  Personally, I prefer the look of the fender mounted mirrors. 
However, as others have mentioned, the door mounted mirrors are more user 
friendly (easy to adjust, better view IMHO).
